This notice describes how personal data of visitors to the website lockernode.com (the "Site") is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.

2. Categories of data processed
Browsing data. The systems operating the Site collect, in the course of their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols: IP addresses, access times, pages visited, browser and operating system parameters. This data is used solely to ensure the proper functioning and security of the Site.
Data provided voluntarily. By filling in the demo request / contact form, the user provides data such as name, email address, company name (where applicable) and the content of the message. This data is stored in our systems and used exclusively to respond to the request.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Providing data through the contact form is optional, but failure to do so makes it impossible to handle the request.
4. Recipients of the data
Data may be processed, as processors under Art. 28 GDPR or as independent controllers, by the following providers:
- DigitalOcean LLC — hosting of the Site and of the database where contact form data is stored;
- Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery service (e.g. notifications relating to contact requests);
- Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (browsing statistics, subject to consent);
- CookiePal — cookie consent management platform;
- Flagpedia (flagcdn.com) — CDN serving the flag images of the language selector; loading these images involves transmitting the visitor's IP address.
Data is not disclosed or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers are based in the United States. Transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, such as certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Data retention
- Contact form data: for the time needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a contractual relationship is established.
- Browsing data and logs: as a rule no longer than 12 months, except where needed to investigate unlawful activity.
- Statistical data (Google Analytics): according to the configured retention periods, up to a maximum of 14 months.
7. Data subject rights
You may at any time exercise the rights set out in Arts. 15–22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before withdrawal). Requests should be sent to privacy@lockernode.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your place of residence.
8. Automated decision-making
The Controller does not carry out processing involving automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
9. Minors
The Site is aimed at business operators and is not intended for persons under 18.

This notice may be updated; the current version is always published on this page with the date of last update.
